A Room to Spare

For the 3rd bedroom in our house, we decided to use it as a spare room(though we never get any overnight guests!!) and a room for TJ's army stuff and other interests. Here is how it turned out....

The view from the doorway....

We are going to go counterclockwise this time.

Above the bed....

1 poster he received from the original unit he was in here at Fort Riley. The other is Dale Earnhart. The calendar is Dale Earnhart Jr and will be replaced by a Harley Davidson calendar(don't tell him).

The bed...

It will look better when we get curtains put up.

Next to the bed and the corner...

The furniture is a nightstand and a director's chair. Below them is TJ's stuffed animal collection. On the wall is his Eagle Scout Awards. The star on the chair was a gift from my aunt and uncle for when he came back from Iraq.

The music wall...

With a laundry basket thrown in!! That's for his uniforms and linens. As you can see, he likes Metallica. He also plays bass and a little guitar.

This is the army corner.

All of his medals, and pins and other army things, plus the TV. I also have his diploma in there. On the wall are pictures from Basic Training.

The closet....

Just TJ's stuff. His clothes, uniforms, other Army things. Above it is a picture of Jesus, looking over the room.

This is all I have for now. I am working on the diningroom this weekend and hopefully will have it done for the next room tour.
