Scout and His Grass

Hello friends. It is Thursday. Time for another gardening post. Except not much was happening with the garden this week as I was busy breaking in this chair(mommy made the pillow!)

So, instead I am going to talk to you about grass, specifically our lawn.

But first I must warn you all about something important. Cat Eating Machines!!

Now, Mommy says they are for eating grass, not cats, but it could eat a cat if it wanted!! You must avoid these at all costs. Even if your best friend has come to play and thinks hiding under the neighbor's three wheeler is enough. GET IN THE HOUSE

Even if the machine is across the street

Okay, now back to our lawn

We have like about 20 different kinds of grass on our lawn. Mommy thinks it is from different grass seed being put down. Here is a sample

Eating grass. What we mostly have

Dead grass coming back to life

Leafy type grass

Lighter version of eating grass

And cut grass the cat eating machine leaves behind

We also have lots of weeds and clovers and dandelions

Grass's view of me about to eat it!!

As you can see, we still have bare spots

Now, if you excuse me, I must take care of this crack plant(Isn't it cute????)

(Mommy -- It's a weed, Scout)

The End

Hi ya, Scout!! Thanks for telling us all about grass. We hate those grass-eating machines too...they are so noisy!!

what a cute post and I loved the pillow on your chair Scout! your mom did a great job with it!! lots of different varieties of grass indeed!! I like it though, lots of character in the yard!

Koda doesn't like the grass cutting machine either; he usually barks at it.
