Culture in the City of Angels

The next day Kim and I had planned a day of culture. Our first stop was Studio City to see this little gem of a home..

Do you recognize it??? It is the Brady Bunch house!!! This is the house they used to show what the house looked like. It has changed some, but very recognizeable. It is tucked way back in a little neighborhood, though. It helps to have a GPS to find it. Or good directions.

After that we drove down to Downtown LA and got off on Wilshire Blvd

Our destination was the LA County Museum of Art or LACMA

They even had a children's gallery where you could paint your own picture! That was my favorite part!!

LACMA is located on the Miracle Mile
It has incredible views of the Wilshire District
And is next door to the world famous La Brea Tar Pits

Those suckers were bubbling!!

On the way home we decided to avoid the freeways as it was rush hour so I drove La Cienaga, but then tried getting on the 10. It was too crowded so i got off and drove through East LA on Cesar Chavez RD and Whittier Blvd

We ended the day at Tony's Pizza in Whittier.
