A Day In Abilene.

We needed to finish up Christmas shopping and Abilene was the place to do it! (Russell Stovers is there). We hit up a couple favorite spots and some new favorites.

First we went to the Greyhound Hall of Fame so Jonathon could see the dogs. He liked them and was probably surprised to see something furry that was bigger than his cat!

Next we headed over to the C.W. Parker Carousel. It is over 130 years old ad has traveled the country. We opted to sit with Jonathon in a seat rather than hold him on a horse. It was really loud, but that did not bother him. He was very serious about riding but when it was over he was all smiles

Next we headed over to Tossed and Sauced for some of the best pizza around. While there we met the missionaries from the Salina Ward who cover the Abilene area and had a nice chat with them. After we went to my favorite antique store and I bought a book for Jonathon and a candle tree for my collection. After that it was off to Russell Stovers for candy and some delicious ice cream

It was a really nice outing for the day.

Here are some other random pictures from the town
